In 1999 a group of Browns fans that included John Meehan, Tommy Chirico, Sandy Thoburn and others were looking for a place to gather to watch their Cleveland Browns and they stumbled upon BT Boomers. The bar was owned by a married couple, one from Cleveland and the other from Pittsburgh. Boy were them some exciting games, Tommy sitting on his cooler screaming at the tv. And especially when the Browns played the Steelers, that was almost a full-on brawl. Once the divorce was finalized, we were on the move and settle on a couple smaller locations before joining Joey D’s. It did not take long with all the people relocating to Florida from Ohio for us to outgrow Joey D’s. 10 years ago, a new bar was opening called Pelican Larrys and was looking for a fan group to occupy the building on Sundays. And boy did we pack that place. We went through the winless drought, the Manziel regime and the horrible play but we kept going strong and made a ton of memories there. One of the biggest highlights was being named the Cleveland Browns Chapter of the Year in 2023. Unfortunately, Larrys closed halfway through the season last year and we were on the move again. We ended at Scoreboard Social halfway through the season, and in the off season we have been welcomed back, and we will be meeting there for the 2026 season and seasons to come.
